This page has been consistently receiving a lot of hits for the past few weeks and hence I felt a proper introduction was due.
My name is Archana. It is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘Prayer’. I work as a Project Manager in a leading IT company based in India. I love learning new things. Books are my best friends. I enjoy writing and public speaking. I write short stories mostly based on people I meet. I am passionate about temple art and Hindu philosophy. I dream of writing a book on Symbology of Hindu gods, one day. My other areas of interest include Physics, Astronomy, Genetics and Psychology.
I started blogging in my company’s internal blogosphere and it was mind blowing experience. I learnt so much, made great friends and had a wonderful time. That’s where I found my inspiration to start this blog. I love this world because I get meet so many interesting people from around the world across different walks of life.

Namaste.
“Archana” in Sanskrit, to follow strictly etymology, means -floral-offerings(like pushpa-archana when particularised), in general, ‘prayer’ is not wrong though.
